How this SSB data works

Where the rates come from, how the calculator estimates cash coupons, and who operates this site.

Official MAS data, independently presented

Issue dates, application windows, allotment details, coupon rates and average returns come from the Monetary Authority of Singapore Savings Bonds service.

This site is independently operated by JUST2US PTE. LTD. (UEN 202218107R), a Singapore company. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by MAS.

Latest MAS source change recorded .

Changed source data is checked before publishing

The data producer retrieves the MAS issuance calendar, issue details and annual rates. It retains a source response only when the content changes, together with a SHA-256 fingerprint for integrity checks.

Before replacing the public data file, it verifies the stored source responses, issue dates, required fields and complete ten-year rate schedules. If verification or generation fails, the previous valid file remains in place. Upcoming issues stay incomplete until MAS publishes their rates.

Cash coupons, not reinvested returns

For each holding year, estimated interest is the investment amount multiplied by that year's MAS coupon rate. A normal six-month payment is half of that annual amount.

If an issue starts after the first day of its coupon month, the first payment is reduced in proportion to the number of days invested. The average yearly interest shown by the calculator adds all 20 estimated cash payments over ten years and divides the total by ten. It assumes the bond is held for the full term and does not reinvest coupons.

Information, not financial advice
